The Storm Has Come

by Storm of Crows

/

about

Written during a rehearsal in the span of only half an hour and recorded just two weeks later, this is our first track as a four piece band now we have young Jack thumping away at the drumkit.

lyrics

[Verse 1]
We've unloaded all our gear
So we're glad to see you here, oh yeah
We've set up in this room
And we're gonna play real soon, oh yeah
We're here to play some tunes
So grab your drink and sit down soon, oh yeah
Now the time is on the clock
So we're gonna play some rock, oh yeah

[Chorus]
Now the storm has come
Can you hear our drum?
What will the night become
Now the storm has come
Oh yeah

[Verse 2]
Jimmy's plucking at the bass
And he's looking kind of ace, oh yeah
Behind the kit there's Jack
'Cause he's playing at the back, oh yeah

As for me my name is Matt
I'm a music cricket bat, oh yeah
And the loudest of us all
You'd better know his name is Paul, oh yeah

[Middle 8 and Guitar Solo]

[Chorus x2]
Now the storm has come
Can you hear our drum?
Now you must succumb
Now the storm has come

about

Storm of Crows Sheffield, UK

Storm of Crows is a rock band based in Sheffield and Stockport, in the UK. Originally in various bands at the end of the 1990s, we reformed during Covid lockdown in 2020 to record some of our old songs, and write a few new ones as well. We're not the best band in the world, but we're having a blast doing what what we're doing, and we think that comes across in our music. We hope you like it too. ... more
